What happens to the information you send us through this website.
Who we are
This website is operated by Inspired Kids Family Day Care, 53 Wecker Road, Mansfield QLD 4122. You can reach us on 07 3274 4729, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm.
This policy explains what happens to information you send us through this website. It covers the website only. Information collected during enrolment or the delivery of care is handled separately under our service policies, which we can provide on request.
What we collect
We collect the information you type into an enquiry form on this website. Depending on which form you use, that may include:
- your name and, on the contact form, your first and last name separately
- your email address and phone number
- the type of care you are asking about, the days you need and a preferred start date
- your child’s first name and age or date of birth, if you choose to give them
- a school name and your suburb or postcode, if relevant and if you choose to give them
- your preferred contact method and anything you write in the notes field
- whether you ticked the consent box
Required fields vary depending on the form you use. We ask for your name, email address, phone number and consent to be contacted. Care enquiries also ask for the type of care required and, where relevant, the days you need. Other information is optional unless the form marks it as required.
We deliberately do not ask for Centrelink or CRN details, Medicare numbers, medical or health information, immunisation records, banking details or custody documents through this website. Please do not send those to us by web form.
Our web server keeps ordinary technical records, such as your IP address and the time of a request. These are used to run the site, to apply the anti-spam limits described below, and for security. This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and does not track you across other sites.
How we use it
We use what you send us to answer your enquiry, to discuss care options and availability with you, and to follow up if you asked us to. We do not use website enquiry details for marketing, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How your enquiry reaches us
When you submit a form, the details are sent from our web server to our email inbox using SMTP2GO, an email delivery provider. Your enquiry passes through their systems in order to be delivered. Our website host also processes the request in the ordinary course of serving the site.
The contact page includes a Google Maps embed so you can find us. When that map loads, Google receives the request in the same way it would if you visited Google Maps directly. If you would rather avoid that, you can use the address and the phone numbers on the page instead.
Who else sees it
Enquiry details are seen by the Inspired Kids team members who handle enquiries, and by the service providers described above who transmit or host the message. We may also disclose information where we are required or authorised to do so by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a reasonable record of our dealings, then dispose of them securely. If you would like your enquiry removed sooner, please ask and we will do that.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 07 3274 4729 or write to us at 53 Wecker Road, Mansfield QLD 4122 and we will help. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on the request.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact us first, and you may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children’s information
Enquiry forms are intended to be completed by a parent or guardian. Please only include details about a child that are necessary for the enquiry.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
